How to Tune Your Ukulele
- Soprano, concert, and tenor ukuleles use standard G C E A. For a baritone ukulele, choose Baritone under Settings.
- Tap Start Tuning and pluck one string at a time.
- If it says Tune up, tighten the string. If it says Tune down, loosen it. Stop when it shows In tune.
In standard tuning the G string is tuned higher than the C string next to it. This is called re-entrant tuning. This page expects that high G (G4). If you use a low G string (G3), tune with the chromatic tuner instead.
